Can you believe it, John? Summer was officially sworn into the 118th Congress on January 7, 2023 — exactly 100 days ago.

In her first 100 days, Summer has fought to advance and pass critical legislation. Check out just some of the bills she’s co-sponsored so far:
→ Rep. Judy Chu's Women’s Health Protection Act to prohibit government restrictions on abortion services and access and codify reproductive freedom once and for all.
→ Rep. Bobby Scott's PRO (Protecting the Right to Organize) Act to solidify and expand labor protections for workers and ensure that every worker has the right to unionize.
→ Reps Chris Deluzio and Ro Khanna's Decreasing Emergency Railroad Accident Instances Locally (DERAIL) Act to broaden regulations defining high-hazard flammable trains and enforce higher safety standards to avoid disasters like those in East Palestine.
→ Reps Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush’s Justice for All Act to roll back decades of right-wing court attacks on civil rights legislation by strengthening our laws to fight discrimination and protect civil rights.
→ Rep. David Cicilline's Assault Weapons Ban to ban weapons of war designed for the military that have no place in our neighborhoods, take on the gun lobby, and keep our communities safe.
That's not all, John. Summer joined the Equal Rights Amendment Caucus as Vice Chair, was named a Vice Ranking Member on the Oversight Subcommittee on Health Care and Financial Services, and was appointed co-chair of the Congressional Black Caucus Race and Justice Task Force. But with Republicans controlling the House of Representatives, she needs our support.
