john,

There have been more mass shootings than days in 2023 with over 5,000 Americans losing their lives due to an act of gun violence. From Monterey Park to Nashville and Louisville, recent devastating mass shootings have once again torn communities apart across the nation.

Enough is enough. It's time we take action to end this tragic and uniquely American epidemic – and that starts with banning assault weapons.

Assault weapons are consistently the weapon of choice in mass shootings. There's no place for these weapons of war in our communities. That's why last year, Kim was proud to vote to reinstate a federal assault weapons ban to prevent more lives from being lost, but this legislation was held up in the Senate.

As a mom, pediatrician, and member of Congress, Kim is continuing to fight to get weapons of war off our streets, but she wants to hear from you. Do you support a federal assault weapons ban? Take our one-question poll now →

Thanks,

To win back the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and reclaim the House majority in 2024?
