[link removed] [[link removed]] John,
I went on MSNBC to spell out what we know so far about Clarence Thomas:
– For 20 years, Thomas has been taking luxury vacations worth hundreds of thousands of dollars paid for by GOP megadonor Harlan Crow – and Thomas never reported any of it. That appears to be a clear violation of the law.
– And now, we also know that Harlan Crow purchased property from Clarence Thomas and his family for over $130,000
– and he didn’t disclose that transaction either!
This is unacceptable.
That’s why CREW filed a civil and criminal complaint against Clarence Thomas calling on the Department of Justice and the Supreme Court to investigate Thomas.
Justice Thomas appears to have failed to uphold those standards and needs to be investigated immediately. If you agree, please sign our petition today → [[link removed]]

The law is absolutely clear on this. There is a place on financial disclosure forms specifically for listing real estate transactions. There is absolutely no way that this should have been unreported.
Making this look all the more suspect, the same person who did this secret deal, Harlan Crow, was also providing hundreds of thousands of dollars to Thomas in lavish vacations. And the house he sold to Crow? His mother still lives there, and we don’t know whether she pays Crow rent.
Justice Thomas’s acceptance of repeated, elaborate gifts, his failure to disclose them, and the shocking real estate sale he engaged in not only damage public trust in his ability to serve impartially on the highest court in the land, but undermine confidence in the Supreme Court as an institution.
The Supreme Court has the final say on every legal case in America, so every justice must have the highest ethical standards to serve.
Justice Thomas appears to have failed to uphold those standards and needs to be investigated immediately. If you agree, please sign our petition today → [[link removed]]
