Every child deserves reliable access to nutritious food. But in this nation of so much bounty far too many do not.
You have a chance to help do something about it by opening your heart and using your voice.
Every 5 years, the U.S. Congress needs to pass a new Farm Bill, which funds critical food programs for millions of children in the U.S. living in poverty.
One of the most important is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). It helps feed about 42 million low-income Americans, including about 20 million children. It is truly the first line of defense for families struggling to put food on their tables.
This is why our advocacy arm, Save the Children Action Network (SCAN), needs your help. The next Farm Bill is being negotiated in Congress right now. Your elected representatives need to know that you want them to protect and strengthen SNAP for the approximately 20 million children who rely on it.

Save the Children and Save the Children Action Network work tirelessly to ensure children get the best possible start in life, no matter their socio-economic status or where they live. And ensuring they have access to the nutrition they need is key.
We need 25,000 dedicated supporters like you to join us in telling lawmakers that they need to help hungry children when they write the new Farm Bill, but it looks like your signature is still missing:
Please, urge Congress to protect and strengthen SNAP in the next Farm Bill so children in America have continued access to nutritious food. It will just take a minute of your time but will make a huge difference for millions of children.
