Days before the 2022 election, polls indicated an extremely close race. Republicans painted New Hampshire with ads attacking me and I was getting phone calls from other Senators questioning whether we could beat the election denier I was running against.

We made the decision to take on a bit of debt in order to win and now, we still have bills to pay.
