"And if you spend yourself on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday."
– Isaiah 58:10-11
Africa & Europe
Pray for the Justice Concert happening this weekend in Ghana. We are seeing some great momentum building through our advocacy — pray that this event will mobilize more churches, artists, musicians and the wider public in Ghana to care about justice and advocate for children who are victims of trafficking.
Latin America
Pray for no delays in IJM Bolivia's court cases. The suspension of court hearings can present a serious impediment to achieving justice for survivors of sexual violence. Please pray for endurance for our lawyers, for peace for survivors waiting for justice and for strong and prompt momentum in cases this year.
South Asia
Praise God for a man rescued from a well-digging worksite this week after spending nearly a year in slavery. This case came from a grassroots NGO partner trained by IJM's team. They informed local police about this man's plight, and the officers quickly staged an operation to free him. Police learned that several other enslaved people had recently escaped from this worksite as well. Pray for this man's immediate aftercare and that we can help him return home safely. Pray also for the police as they follow up on the other laborers and on the slave holders who exploited them.
Southeast Asia
Pray for an ongoing court case in the Kratie province of Cambodia, that the judge will deliver the right judgement. Pray also for our IJM Cambodia team as they train community members on recognizing and reporting the signs of similar cases of labor trafficking. Pray that through this training, we'll be able to identify, rescue and stand with vulnerable people until justice is rendered.
IJM HQ & Global Partners
IJM headquarters is located in the United States. IJM has

Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Pray for the increased awareness of the issue of sex trafficking during Super Bowl weekend. Over the years, this major sporting event in the U.S. has put a brighter spotlight on human trafficking. Pray that the increased attention on this injustice will move more people to learn how they can join the fight to end it.
