That's why there's so many "quick and easy fixes" like net zero emissions targets and carbon offsetting — promises and technologies presented by the coal, oil and gas industry as a magical way to solve the climate crisis, while their true purpose is to delay climate action.
It's incredibly important that we stay aware of their tactics and don't let them derail the conversation.
