The challenges faced by students, parents, and educators in this country are real. From declining math and science scores, to achievement gaps, to mental health – Congress has a responsibility to protect and nurture our youth.

Unfortunately, the GOP Majority has chosen to politicize education in this country instead of addressing those challenges.

Transgender youth are a small fraction of our children, and an even smaller fraction of student athletes. Yet the GOP has decided to focus national Congressional action against these kids. Make no mistake, legislation like the Parents Bill of Rights Act is a political ploy designed to perpetuate an extreme agenda.

This is what happens when we lose control of the US House, and why it is so important we take it back in 2024.
