Nancy Pelosi: Gun violence is the leading cause of death for children and teens in America — known as ‘Generation Lockdown.’ If we want to protect our children in school, we should be banning assault weapons not books

We know that banning assault weapons dramatically lowers the number of mass shootings:

Deaths from Mass Shootings: Pre-ban, 68. Ban in place, 53. Post-ban, 309. Banning assault weapons saves lives.
