Dear Friends,
On Saturday, February 15, join us for a screening of Anne Berrini's documentary Ursula Mamlok - Movements, which focuses on the life and work of the 20th century German-Jewish composer who fled Nazi Germany across three continents. Our bauhaus.photo exhibition has been extended to February 26, with our closing event featuring a book presentation by writer and scholar Elizabeth Otto. If you're in or around Richmond on February 12, the Fritz Ascher: Expressionist exhibition will host a panel discussion delving deeper into Ascher's artwork.
We have several exciting opportunities available and open for applications: our friends at the Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste seek young Americans over 18 who would like to volunteer in Germany at places of Holocaust remembrance. Our Study Bridge program applications are also open, with information webinars available for registration.
