John, With exactly one month left until Election Day, I want you to know our campaign is in a strong position to win. Here’s the way we see things, thirty days out: FIRST, it’s clear that Helen is the leader Philadelphia needs. While other candidates are running for office, she’s running to change the way people live. She’s a fearless fighter, a proven organizer, and the only candidate with a 30-year track record of taking on “impossible” fights and winning. BETTER YET, we have the strongest grassroots team in this race. Not only have we received donations from 2,687 supporters — more than any other campaign — we’ve recruited hundreds of volunteers and knocked thousands of doors across our city. BUT, we’re still up against two self-funding multi-millionaires and a dark money Super PAC. They’ve outspent us at every turn, and if we’re not able to close the gap, the millionaires and billionaires could drown us out when it matters most.
