HOLDING THE LINE
Governor Ron DeSantis visited Hillsdale College in Michigan, a small, Christian liberal arts college and a pioneer in resisting woke ideology in higher education. Hillsdale College is the gold standard for classical liberal arts education.

In Florida, Governor DeSantis is revolutionizing higher education.
“In Florida, we will build off of our higher education reforms by aligning core curriculum to the values of liberty and the Western tradition, eliminating politicized bureaucracies like DEI, increasing the amount of research dollars for programs that will feed key industries with talented Florida students, and empowering presidents and boards of trustees to recruit and hire new faculty, including by dedicating record resources for faculty salaries.” –Governor Ron DeSantis
Earlier this year, Governor DeSantis turned these words into actions and flipped the New College of Florida board of directors from woke indoctrinators to leaders of the fight against critical race theory, DEI, and radical gender theory in education – hoping that the New College of Florida will become Florida’s classical college.
Governor DeSantis continues to fight back against the woke mob because if he doesn’t, the ideological capture of our universities will continue to bleed into every sector of American life. We must put a stop to it.
Together, we must fight back and never, ever back down.

FIRST LADY CASEY DESANTIS
First Lady Casey DeSantis, Governor DeSantis, and the kids traveled down memory lane this week and visited the First Lady’s hometown, Troy, Ohio to share news of the Florida Blueprint with the Buckeye State.
In addition to speaking to GOP leaders across the state, the DeSantis Family visited her old elementary school and reminisced with locals.

REPORT FROM FLORIDA’S LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Governor DeSantis continues to deliver for the people of Florida, including this week signing, the Heartbeat Protection Act, which expands pro-life protections and devotes resources to help young mothers and families.

This week, Governor DeSantis signed legislation to expand access to Florida’s iconic Wildlife Corridor – connecting the corridor to Florida’s greenways, trails system (the Shared-Use Nonmotorized Trail Network), and recreational pathways to heritage small towns.
This will allow more Floridians to enjoy Florida’s Wildlife Corridor by walking, running, or biking – giving a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of Florida’s heartland.
