Seminarians undergo rigorous training in sacred liturgy. After a seminarian receives the Sacrament of Holy Orders, he becomes the living image of Christ in this world.

The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. How important then it is for us to nourish seminarians with a concise explanation of the Catholic Church’s charitable and pastoral response to widespread confusion regarding worthy reception of the Holy Eucharist.

Cardinal Burke has guided countless young men into priestly formation and has been a spiritual Father to seminarians in many parts of the world. For some priests, he has nurtured them at the very beginning of their vocation. In his book, Deny Holy Communion?, His Eminence gives a clear-cut, long-held teaching of the Catholic Church on how to properly apply the Church’s teaching on how to apply discipline regarding the sacraments.



There are over 40 houses of formation and seminaries in the United States, Puerto Rico and Rome. We need your help to continue our mission – that every man who has been called by God to, one day, give us the ultimate and everlasting sweetness, of the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Our Lord, Jesus Christ, will forever remember the words in this book, when his anointed hands distribute Jesus in Holy Communion.



Remember that Jesus promises eternal life to those who receive Him in Holy Communion. There is one caveat, however. We must approach Holy Communion in a worthy manner, free from mortal sin. That being said, a Catholic politician or public servant can never justify receiving Our Lord in Holy Communion when they publicly promote policies and laws in violation of the dignity of human life and in violation of the integrity of human sexuality, marriage and the family. 



We would like to make the book available to seminarians and seminary professors who request it. We have already received a request from one priest at a seminary who said he will use it with his students when discussing the sacrament of confession.
