Here’s a novel idea: Someone running for Congress should actually travel their district, meet with voters, and listen to the people they’re running to represent.

That’s exactly what my son Felix and I are doing.

Nucla, CO – Population: 585Lauren Boebert is everything that’s wrong with Washington. She seems more interested in conspiracy theories than actually helping the people of Colorado’s 3rd district.

Let me tell you what the people I’m meeting with and listening to care about – since Lauren Boebert clearly doesn’t know.

Democrats, Independents, and Republicans alike want the circus to stop. They want someone focused on kitchen table issues like health care, inflation, and good-paying jobs – not Boebert’s angertainment circus.

Our ranchers and farmers ask me about the water crisis in Colorado. Retirees and those nearing retirement worry about Boebert voting to cut Social Security & Medicare. And abortion rights and the future of our democracy are top of mind.

Meeker, CO – Population: 2,475These are the issues that I’m hearing about from voters in small towns across the district. They’re the issues I was focused on in 2022 when we lost by just 546 votes to Lauren Boebert – and they’re the issues I’m going to continue to be focused on.

But here’s the thing: Even after driving 24,000 miles during the last campaign, I couldn’t personally meet with all 400,000 voters in the district. Many people will only know about me from the ads we’re able to put on TV – or worse, the lie-filled attack ads that Lauren Boebert’s Super PACs are going to blanket the state with.

I’m ready to put in the work, but I’m not taking money from corporate PACs like Boebert is. The only way I’m going to be able to go up against Lauren Boebert’s lies and defeat her is if grassroots donors like you chip in now.
