Friend – The baseless, racist expulsion of two Democratic lawmakers from the Tennessee legislature has drawn a national spotlight to the rise of far-right extremism in our government.
Republicans currently hold a supermajority in 20 state legislatures – meaning the Republican majority is so large that it would overpower any veto attempts by members of other parties.
Now, Republican state lawmakers are attempting to strip power away from Democrats already ostracized by the GOP supermajority.
This is a symptom of a fascist regime, and it cannot be allowed to go unchecked.
We cannot sit silently while fascism infiltrates our government.
