This race is personal to me, Team.
My kids are 13 and 15 years old -- and when I talk to them about their future, they have very real concerns because of the inaction of our leaders on issues like the climate crisis. Too often, our leaders aren’t just turning away from these problems, they are actively making them worse. And without real leadership, the future is filled with fear instead of hope.
I’m running for Senate because all of our children deserve to see us taking a stand for their future. And as your next Senator, I will fight as hard as I can to ensure every child in our country has a future they can believe in. I’ll work to address climate change with the urgency it requires. I’ll fight to ensure every American has access to affordable health care. And I’ll do everything in my power to create good jobs and raise wages for workers across the country.
Time and again, Steve Daines, Mitch McConnell, and the Senate GOP are failing to stand with our children and fight for their future. They are blocking hundreds of bills in the Senate on everything from addressing climate change to raising the minimum wage. Enough is enough.
We all deserve to see our leaders doing what’s right and fighting for our values. That’s the kind of leadership I plan to bring to the U.S. Senate -- but I need your support to get there.
