Dear John,
This week, we invite you to remember our
tragic past as a people, and to join us in building a brighter future
for the Jewish people.

The CIJA Team
Join us on Tuesday, April 18, 2022, at 11 a.m. Eastern via
livestream or in person at The National Holocaust Monument, to honour
the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and the brave
Survivors at a community-wide commemoration of Yom HaShoah at the
National Holocaust Monument.
On behalf of Canada’s Jewish community,
we would like to thank all dignitaries and elected officials from
across Canada, including the Prime
Minister, the Leader
of the Opposition, Premiers from
coast to coast, and elected officials from all levels of government,
who sent Passover greetings.
Join us October 16-17 for the official launch of a sustained
campaign to face, fight, and push back against the single-most
important challenge we confront today: antisemitism.
This comprehensive conference includes two days of advocacy
training for Jewish leaders, students, community advocates, advocacy
professionals, and other faith and ethnic community leaders and
partners on the critical issues facing the Jewish community.
You will learn the most effective strategies to engage the
government and how to articulate the issues that matter most to our
community. Participants will have opportunities for face-to-face
meetings with key policy- and decision-makers on the Hill.
You will be part of the largest community gathering from
coast to coast to coast standing strong, speaking with one
voice!
This week, CIJA President and CEO Shimon Koffler Fogel spoke with
the Toronto
Star about the crucial role of the IHRA definition of Antisemitism
in the fight against Jew-hatred.
