Wyoming Environmental Quality Council Hearing Continuation of Consideration of Rulemaking Notice of Intent to Adopt Rules
The Wyoming Environmental Quality Council will continue consideration of proposed revisions to the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality Water Quality Rules Chapter 12, Design and Construction Standards for Public Water Supplies, Docket 22-3103, at a hearing to be held on May 16, 2023 in the Board of Equalization Meeting Room, Hathaway Building 1st Floor, 2300 Capitol Ave, Cheyenne, WY, 82002, starting at 9:00 a.m. (MST). The revisions include new requirements for public water supplies that propose well acidization, updates to water treatment technologies, the incorporation by reference of the Recommended Standards for Water Works, 2018 Edition, and minor corrections made since the rule was noticed on August 31, 2022. The chapter meets minimum substantive state statutory requirements per W.S. § 16-3-103(a)(i)(G). The public comment period ended on March 20, 2023.
