I know we've written to you a few times about our $350,000 fundraising goal. Let me tell you a little bit about why this particular goal is so important.

When I made the difficult decision to end my campaign for president, I knew we'd be entering my Senate re-election bid behind where we'd have liked to be at this point.

In fact, there are already five Republicans running against me. Many people like to say that New Jersey is a blue state, but we can't afford to take anything for granted. I want to ramp up this campaign as quickly as possible so we can win -- and win big -- this November.
