John — we’re respectfully asking you to make a $5 donation to help Defend the Senate. [[link removed]]

Sorry to be so blunt, but we set a goal of raising 10,000 donations by tonight, and right now we’re still short of where we need to be.

Hitting this goal is important because with a Senate majority this slim, we need to pull out all the stops so Mitch McConnell and his right-wing cronies don’t steal back the majority and unravel all of our progress.

We’re going to fight back against McConnell and the flood of outside money that will rush in to take back the Senate — and we’re going to do it one $5 contribution at a time.

So as Mitch McConnell and national Republicans try to take back the Senate majority, we have to ask:

Will you chip in $5 today to help defend our Democratic Senate majority and keep Mitch McConnell out of power? If we all do our part we will easily hit this 10,000 individual donor goal and have the necessary resources to compete in races across the country. [[link removed]]

Democrats are defending 23 Senate seats next year, meaning we can’t afford to lose a single seat in states like Nevada and Wisconsin.

Winning will be an uphill battle — but we’ve done it before, and together we can do it again.

Thank you,

– Defend the Senate
