I hope your Saturday is going well so far. I have an exciting announcement that I’d like to share with you today!

You may have noticed that recently our online donation pages have completely changed. In fact, they look, feel, and function totally different than they used to.

This is because Human Coalition has transitioned to a new tool called Fundraise Up to handle all of our online donations.

*Now… it might not sound like that big of a deal at first but let me explain why it’s so exciting.* This new tool comes with features that make donating online easier and more convenient for you.

And the greatest example is that we’ll be able to offer several new donation methods for you besides Credit Card. As of right now, we have added ACH/Direct Debit via bank transfers and there’s an easier option through Fundraise Up to donate Stocks. In weeks ahead, we’ll be adding the following new options too:

* PayPal
* VenMo
* Cryptocurrency

Not only that, but the mobile donation experience has improved as well. So, if you’re like me and use your phone for everything, you’ll likely appreciate the upgrade there.

All of this is meant to remove some major pain points for you when donating to Human Coalition online. At the end of the day, our goal is to offer you the best online donation experience and we aim to make donating by the method you would like, as easy as possible.

I know everyone does not like change. But because barriers have been removed, this new online donation facility will mean that more moms will be reached, and ultimately, more children rescued from abortion.

*And* *John* *, I know you’d agree that is absolutely worth it, even if change is hard.*

This move also likely raises questions like:

*What about my existing recurring donation?*

* Your existing recurring donations are being migrated to the new platform for you. There’s nothing to do on your part. Your existing recurring gifts will continue as usual.

*Is there an online donor portal?*

* Yes, there is a new online donor portal. You’ll be able to see all future online donations through Fundraise Up, download receipts, manage your recurring donations, and more… anytime you want. Check it out here! ( [link removed] )

*Is my donation through Fundraise Up secure?*

* Yes, Fundraise Up uses industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to keep your information secure. Your sensitive financial information never touches Fundraise Up’s servers. All data is sent directly to PCI-compliant servers through SSL encryption.

*Will my donation history be available on the new platform?*

* Because it’s a brand new platform, your previous online donation history will not be transferred over to the new system. All gifts given online moving forward however, will show up in the donor portal. If you have a question about a gift prior to this change, our team is happy to find the answer to your question. Simply reply to this email with your question.

*Will my donation be processed immediately, or will there be a delay?*

* Most online donations will be processed immediately, as you’re used to. The exceptions are non-cash gifts like: Cryptocurrency and Stocks, or ACH because these require third-party involvement via your bank, brokerage, or cryptocurrency exchange. Don’t worry though: the new system will keep you updated on where your donation is in the approval process.
