John,

It’s planting season and Sharla and I have been waiting for the snow to melt and the water to recede from some of our fields. In the meantime, we’re getting the equipment ready. You can plan as much as you want, but Mother Nature calls the shots.

I gotta tell ya, I love this time of year — sure, it is a bit stressful with all the work we have to get done. But getting my hands in the soil and running the tractor for 16 hours a day really grounds me. With some hard work and a little luck, we will set ourselves up for a good harvest.

In fact, the work Sharla and I do on the farm is kind of like the campaign we’re running. Fundraising early helps plant the seeds of our campaign so that we can continue to grow our movement and, ultimately, come home with a successful harvest on Election Day.

So, here’s the part where I ask: Can I count on you to help us *sow the seeds* of our campaign by splitting a donation between me and Seth Moulton to help us reach our critical April mid-month goal? I’d really appreciate it.

Farming allows me to take time to work in the open and quiet fields. It reminds me what’s important, and reaffirms my commitment to representing Montana. I’m not in this race to get rich. I’m running because I’m not done fighting for you and your family.

National Republicans will spend tens of millions in shady dark money to try and stop us.

But just like in planting, you reap what you sow. That’s why I care so much about building this campaign up from the grassroots.

OK — I’m going to get back to the shop to work on my tractor, thanks for your support!

Jon
