There are three things you need to know about our race for NM-02 right now:

1. Earlier this week, far-right former Rep. Yvette Herrell officially announced she’s challenging Gabe and trying to flip this seat back to red in 2024.
    
2. Herrell is staunchly anti-choice, voting against protecting the federal right to abortion and celebrating the overturning of Roe v. Wade; with nationwide attacks on reproductive freedoms continuing, we can’t afford to let her anywhere near Congress again.
    
3. Tomorrow, our grassroots campaign to defend this seat faces our mid-month fundraising deadline, and we’re still a little short.
