The state’s data privacy law empowers Coloradans to request and fix errors in your information profile from big tech companies. Additionally, consumers now have the ability to opt out of the sale of their personal data.
But we can't let up the fight now. We need to elect more Democratic AGs like Phil Weiser, who will prioritize our privacy and stand up to corporate interests.
Republicans are more interested in protecting the profits of big tech companies than protecting our right to privacy. The GOP consistently sides with corporations over the people they were elected to represent. We can't rely on them to protect our privacy online.
