Here's the situation:

In just a few short hours we'll be halfway done with the month of April, but right now we're only 36% of the way to our monthly email fundraising goal.

That's important, because the way we fund our campaign means that the vast majority of the money we raise comes from small-dollar, grassroots donations, and emails like this one make up a significant part of that.

This has already been a very busy year for me and my team, and we need to start this campaign cycle strong if we're going to have the resources to fight back when it matters most.

So, we have a gap to close if we're going to get back on track…and we're running out of time to do it. That's why I'm asking:
