Emails like this one are extremely important.

In the final days before the 2022 election, Republicans rained money down on New Hampshire and polls tightened significantly. Pundits called our race a toss-up, and I was getting calls from my colleagues in the Senate wondering whether we could win.

In order to defeat our election-denying opponent, we had to take on debt. 

If we’re going to stay on track to pay down our outstanding bills, we need to raise about $2,000 from this email. I’m not asking you to cover all of it, but will you please kick in $3 to help us get there?
