House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan revealed on Wednesday that documents from the FBI outlined plans to build a network of spies within the Catholic Church across the country. The documents showed that at least one FBI agent was directed to infiltrate religious institutions and report undercover on American churches. Senator Josh Hawley grilled Attorney General Merrick Garland on the floor of Congress over the justice department’s anti-Catholic bias, leaving the attorney general stumbling over his words and freedom of religion in question.  

Former New York City Mayor and personal lawyer to President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani joined Matt and Mercedes Schlapp this week on America Uncanceled. Giuliani offered criticism for the indictment of President Trump, calling it “null and void” for failing to properly cite the crime, of which, the former president is accused. Giuliani also slammed Democrat leadership for the corruption and weaponization of the justice system and the decline of cities like New York City, Chicago, and San Francisco. 

CPAC board member Gordon Chang had strong words for U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Allen in light of a leak of classified documents from the Pentagon. Chang called Allen "perhaps the worst Secretary of Defense in our history" after mishandled intel, that revealed the United States' spying tactics, leaked to the public. The documents in question showed the United States' and its allies' efforts to monitor China and Russia. The leak is now benefiting our foreign adversaries and further jeopardizing American national security. 

American Conservative Union Center for Legislative Accountability ratings served as the basis for an article published Wednesday by The Daily Wire that exposed Republican state legislators as more moderate to liberal than conservative. Using the CPAC ratings which analyze legislator voting records, the author of the article discovered the paradox that deep-red states tend to pass less conservative legislation thanks to obstacles erected not by Democrats but by fellow Republicans. It explains why the legislature of a solid red state like Wyoming recently voted down a conservative bill supporting school choice. More importantly, it demonstrates the need for unity in the Republican Party. Will Republicans ever stop shooting themselves in the foot?
