Yesterday, my team emailed you about our progress toward this month's fundraising goal. But before we reach the midpoint of the month tonight, I wanted to reach out to you personally to update you on where our fundraising stands.
In order to stay on track to reaching our fundraising goals, we have an additional $3,234 to raise today. And I am hoping you can help us close the gap.
The truth is, the months following elections are difficult for fundraising. They’re difficult for candidates, issue-based campaigns, and movements like ours. And we are facing that challenging slowdown right now.
We pushed as much as we could to support Judge Janet early this month, and it paid off. Together we were able to send her to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. But now, we still have a lot of work to do, and we are lacking the financial support and resources we need.
How we perform halfway through the month informs our budgeting decisions, but also lets us know if we can continue the momentum of this movement.
Our work didn't stop once Judge Janet was elected and our movement can’t stop now. We have so many other critical races that we can impact across the country, but before we can do that, we need the resources to keep our movement running.
