"Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom."

– Psalm 45:6
Africa & Europe
Please pray for a case of police abuse of power (PAP) in Kenya that came up for hearing this week. This is a PAP case in which a 17-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by a police officer. The officer and an accomplice have been charged with the crime. Pray for the victim and her mother, for their peace as they testify in court, and for the prosecution team as they seek justice in this case.
Latin America
Praise God for the opportunity to partner with Paz y Esperanza (Peace and Hope) in Peru to sponsor a retreat for 10 children and teen survivors of sexual violence! In the "More Than Conquerors" retreat, these children, ranging from 10 to 18 years old, received a message of hope and reliance on God. An IJM survivor leader from the survivor network Grupo Fenix shared her personal story of transformation from trauma to healing in order to encourage the participants. Please pray that God continues to heal their wounds and provide the resources for their complete restoration.
South Asia
Pray over IJM’s search for new partner organizations who can help us expand our work. We know our model will be strengthened by passionate, grassroots NGOs who know the needs and challenges of their local community. We want to train and walk alongside these organizations to help combat human trafficking in a sustainable way. Please pray we can make the right connections in our target areas of expansion and that we can collaborate quickly to protect vulnerable families.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for justice in the case of a trafficker accused of child sexual exploitation. The case stemmed from a referral from the German police, and IJM supported the Philippine government to ensure the trafficker was convicted with a life sentence for trafficking minors for child sexual abuse. We continue to pray that God would work through IJM and its partners to stop the crime of online sexual exploitation of children.
IJM Global Office & Partners
The IJM global office is located in the United States. IJM has Partner Offices in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

Praise God for Easter celebrations around the globe last weekend! We are grateful that our teams were able to take time off to reflect on the death and resurrection of Christ. We continue to pray that the hope ushered in by the present and eternal reign of Christ will deeply penetrate their hearts and lives, not just in this Easter season but every single day.

The updates we share on survivors or their cases can become sensitive over time. To respect and protect
them, please refrain from posting these prayer requests online.
