This bill is an affront to parental rights and terribly dangerous for vulnerable children who are being bombarded with transgender ideology at their schools, on social media, and on television.
I’m sure you’re shocked that Washington has essentially codified state-sanctioned kidnapping.
But here’s the thing, it didn’t start in Washington.
That’s right – a VERY similar bill was passed in California last fall offering sanctuary or legal “refuge” to minors who cross state lines into California seeking “gender affirming care” without parental consent.
At the time, we sounded the alarm that these types of bills would only proliferate if left unchecked.
The passage of this bill in Washington only makes our litigation on behalf of Chloe Cole, Layla Jane, and Aurora Regino all the more important.
We must put a stop to doctors and “Big Pharma” from mutilating and potentially sterilizing young children under the banner of “gender affirming care.”
We must stop teachers and schools from psychologically manipulating young boys and girls to change their gender and hide it from their parents.
Because if we don’t, these horrific policies won’t stop in California or Washington… they’ll be nationwide.
I’m committing to you today that the Center for American Liberty will stay on the frontlines of these legal issues as long as it takes.
I’m committing to you that we’ll advocate tooth and nail in the courtroom for Chloe, Layla, Aurora, and as many other as we can.
I’m committing to you that we won’t stop until vulnerable children are safe and parental rights are secured for the next generation.
The road may be long, and the battles may be difficult, but if you and I don’t take a stand, who will?
