Hi, team, it's Governor Gretchen Whitmer. In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to the DGA before Saturday’s mid-month deadline. But first, I want to tell you exactly what’s on the line this November.

With Washington gridlocked, governors like me are our last line of defense against attacks on our most fundamental rights as citizens. The right to a safe and legal abortion, to cast your ballot without fear and have that ballot counted, and more all depend on governors working to protect our progress.

But that progress is at risk. Right now, far-right megadonors are spending millions to attack Democratic governors on the airwaves and destroy our blue firewall. We need a huge grassroots investment now to turn things around and regain the momentum advantage.
