Last week, a Trump-appointed federal judge issued a preliminary ruling that invalidated the FDA’s approval of the abortion drug mifepristone. The Biden administration has appealed the ruling but, if it stands, access to medication abortion nationwide could be severely compromised. Long before the overturning of Roe v. Wade, MAGA Republicans have been making a concerted effort to implement their extreme anti-abortion agenda. And they will not stop their campaign against reproductive freedom until they achieve their ultimate goal of banning abortion nationwide -- including medication abortion such as mifepristone.
