Friend, just days ago, Greg Abbott and other Texas Republicans called for the pardon of Daniel Perry, who was convicted of murder after shooting and killing a protester at a Black Lives Matter protest in Austin in 2020. 

The Republican Party of Texas even went as far as to say “[t]his case should have never been prosecuted.”

Well, yesterday, court documents were unsealed -- and they revealed exactly the racist monster who Daniel Perry truly is…and that this was the definition of a premeditated murder. 

One set of texts exchanged with a friend show Perry writing “I might have to kill a few people on my way to work,” and the friend noting that the “[old] you would beat the f**k out of [protestors] then r*** a few.”

The friend also asks Perry to “catch [him] a n**** daddy,” to which Perry responded, “That is what I am hoping.”

Friend, it’s pathetic that we have a Governor who’s so cowardly that he’s willing to pardon a bigoted murderer just because Tucker Carlson asked him to do so. And it’s tragic that Texas Republicans are so extreme as to call for the pardon of such an obviously deranged, racist, cold-blooded murderer -- simply because the person he killed was someone they disagree with politically.
