Recently, Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis signed a 6-week abortion ban – an incredibly restrictive, dangerous law.

Now, DeSantis is visiting Virginia, where our own Republican governor has said he wants to roll back essential reproductive rights. That’s why I was just on Morning Joe to talk about what a sobering reminder this is of what’s at stake in our country and why it’s so important we regain our Democratic House majority in 2024 and codify a woman’s right to privacy and abortion access at the federal level.

Without it, Republicans across the country – and in Congress – will continue to introduce dangerous bills just like the one DeSantis signed into law.
