Do More 24 for Students
We are dedicating all donations during Do More 24 on May 17th to school supplies to fill backpacks for Identity youth for the 2023-24 school year. Many immigrant youth have a fragile connection to school or are new to our school system. Help them get ready to learn on day one. This year the demand is even greater and we are trying to fill 700-800 backpacks, which cost up to $38 each. Donate through our DoMore24 page beginning in May, or send supplies now directly from our wish list. We also welcome volunteers to pack and/or distribute the backpacks in August.

Bienvenidos Cumbre Teen Conference
One hundred and seventy newcomer students from nine Montgomery County high schools participated in a conference co-planned and co-facilitated by their peers. The goal of this third Bienvenidos Cumbres (Welcoming Summit) hosted by the Department of Health and Human Services, MCPS, Montgomery College, Identity and other nonprofits was to provide newly-arrived teens with an opportunity to bond with others with similar immigration experiences and introduce them to people and organizations who are here to help them realize their dreams. To learn more about this very special welcome, READ HERE
