Friends,

Since our founding in 2002, the Secular Coalition for America has worked to provide nontheistic Americans a unified voice in Washington by facilitating cooperation and strategic coordination between our 19 member organizations.

As a Coalition, we are fortunate to work closely with those members. As a supporter of our work, we want you to meet and connect with them too—which is why we're sharing a short profile of one member every month moving forward, starting with Camp Quest!

Camp Quest is an educational non-profit that supports a growing network of independently operated summer camp programs across North America.

Their secular, co-ed camps offer week-long programs that blend traditional outdoor fun with critical thinking activities and humanist values.

As an organization, Camp Quest is committed to helping campers develop critical thinking skills, growing empathy in campers' relationships and communities, and offering a one-of-a kind learning experience grounded in science, ethics, philosophy, and nature.

You can visit their registration portal ([link removed][UNIQID]) to view available sessions and sign up a camper (registrations continue to open throughout the winter, so check back often!)

2020 marks Camp Quest's 25th camp season! In that time, they have inspired thousands of young people to be independent thinkers through providing fun, friends, and freethought!

In a society that is so deeply slanted toward theism, Camp Quest's work is making a difference for secular families across the country. And as a proud member of the Secular Coalition for America, they continue to support issues important to our community—including keeping schools free from indoctrination, evidence-based education, and a secular government—that help ensure their campers will have a bright future.

It is critical that we continue to support children raised in secular families by providing community-building experiences like Camp Quest.

You can make an impact and support the urgent need to keep secularism and freethought as important values for the next generation by volunteering at a camp session ([link removed][UNIQID]) or supporting Camp Quest's year-round efforts ([link removed][UNIQID]#_604) with your tax-deductible donation.
