Jason Crow For Congress

Jason Crow for Congress

Team, by now, you’ve probably heard about my service as an Army Ranger. I was honored to serve three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What you might not know are the other jobs I held before serving in Congress.

Coming from a working-class background, there wasn’t always enough money growing up. So like many Americans, I made do with what I had. I was scrappy and persistent.

At a young age, I started working and delivering newspapers. Then I was an Arby’s Cashier. Then I did construction. And after a stint serving in the National Guard, I became a rattlesnake wrangler. (Safe to say, I don’t think many members of Congress have had that experience…)

That’s just the beginning. I’m proud of all of these experiences because they shaped me to be who I am. I don’t come from money. I worked to put myself through college. I know the feeling of putting in a hard day’s work and struggling to make ends meet.

My story isn’t unique. Millions of Americans go through the struggle every day. And it’s important that we bring these everyday stories to the halls of power.

Those are the values I bring to my job in Congress. Hard work. Honesty. Integrity. As your Congressman, my job is to represent your values and fight so everybody — no matter the zip code — can achieve their American Dream.
