I know there are many different issues that are important to all of us, and you should know that I am always working to make progress on as many as possible. But the need for climate action is central to the work of this team.

Here’s the good news: We’re heading in the right direction. Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act -- the biggest climate bill in U.S. history -- the clean-energy transformation is happening. It’s popular. And it’s profitable. (We’re creating good-paying green jobs while we make the shift to renewable energy.)

Of course, there’s a lot more to do -- that’s why we need to keep winning elections, keep electing climate champions, and defend our Senate majority next year.

Earth Day is later this month -- a reminder that it’s our responsibility to take care of our planet. Climate action isn’t just a policy priority or a talking point. It’s an obligation -- for all of us.
