The Supreme Court has been plagued by scandal after scandal, but ProPublica’s new report on Clarence Thomas is a new low.

What happened? For over two decades, Clarence Thomas accepted luxury gifts from a GOP megadonor and never disclosed them.

And this comes after Justice Thomas’ wife was embattled in scandals surrounding her role in Trump’s Jan. 6 insurrection.

What comes next: Congressional members and the American Bar Association are urging the establishment of a code of ethics for Supreme Court Justices to ensure that they are held responsible for any conflicts of interest they may have.
