Wesley Share here, Kirsten Engel's Finance Director. This week, we launched our campaign, and I wanted to update you on our progress.
Here's the great news: we've already had a tremendous outpouring of grassroots support since our announcement.
Last year, everyone underestimated our campaign. But thanks to our incredible network of small dollar donors, we were able to fight back — and Kirsten only lost by a tiny margin. We showed that folks in Southern Arizona actually want leaders who fight for our basic freedoms and stand up for working families.
Here's the reality check: Kirsten's opponent is backed by corporate PACs, special interests, and the Republican establishment.
This is going to be an extremely tough, extremely competitive race. We're going to be fighting a lot of outside spending from groups who don't want to see this seat flipped blue.
Kirsten is committed to making a better Arizona, but first, we'll need support from folks like you.
