TDI proposes amendments to the Consumer Bill of Rights for Personal Automobile Insurance

The Texas Department of Insurance (TDI) proposes to amend the Consumer Bill of Rights for Personal Automobile Insurance. The Office of Public Insurance Counsel (OPIC) developed the proposed bill of rights and petitioned TDI to adopt it. The proposed amendments reflect statutory changes to consumer rights related to personal automobile insurance made by Senate Bill 1602, 87th Legislature, 2021.
