John: I just launched my first reelection campaign for the U.S. Senate here in Nevada – and I couldn’t be more grateful for the outpouring of support from people like you. As we kick things off, I want to share a bit more about why I’m in this fight.

It really comes down to where my story began: in a working-class family, as the granddaughter of Jewish immigrants and the daughter of a World War II veteran. At a young age, my loved ones instilled in me the values of hard work, determination, and persistence – and I’ve carried them with me throughout my entire life.

Jacky childhood

These values drove me to become the first in my family to graduate from college – working as a cocktail waitress at Caesars Palace and taking out student loans to cover the cost.

They drove me while I worked as a computer programmer in a male-dominated field – seeing inequality in our workforce firsthand.

Young Jacky

And they drove me during my first Senate race when I defeated a Republican incumbent against all odds to become only the second woman senator in Nevada's history.

Jacky making history in headlines

To this day, my path is lit by these guiding lights. They fuel my fight to advocate for working families and bring much-needed progress to the lives of all Nevadans, no matter who you are or where you come from.

But right now, The Washington Post is calling me one of the most vulnerable senators up for reelection – and FiveThirtyEight says that Nevada could once again decide Senate control. That’s why the GOP is coming after me as a TOP target for defeat.

I simply can’t fight back and defend my battleground seat without your critical grassroots support, John. That’s why I have to ask: Please, will you split $25 between my campaign and 1973 Action Fund now – before our crucial midnight deadline – to become one of the essential Reelection Founding Donors we need to win in Nevada and defend the Senate for Democrats?

If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation between Jacky Rosen and 1973 Action Fund will go through immediately:
