Do you have Voter ID for this year’s local elections?

If you don’t have the right ID to vote in the May elections, you will not be able to vote in person.

Following the success of our first drop-in session to help residents in applying for free voter ID, we are hosting another one tomorrow (Saturday 15 April) in Spindles Town Square Shopping Centre, 10am to 3pm.

If you cannot attend, you can drop into one of Oldham’s Libraries at any time where staff can help you get online and fill out an application. They can also take your picture. You need your national insurance number to complete the registration and you must be registered to vote - but they can help you with this too.

Voter ID: the deadline to apply for free voter ID is 5pm on 25 April. However, the deadline to register to vote is 11:59 pm on Monday, 17 April.

To register to vote please head to the Government website ([link removed])

The names of candidates standing in the local elections on Thursday 4 May are now available on ([link removed]) our website ([link removed]) ([link removed])
