John, I’ve been fighting for the people of Durham county for the past 3 years as County Commissioner. From raising the minimum wage to advocating for a guaranteed basic income at the county level, I’ve been on the front lines to ensure the issues of Durham County are being addressed.

Our community is stronger when every voice is heard and every person has the access to resources they need to thrive. But that can only be achieved if community members have faith in our trusted officials.

My work is focused on building that trust between constituents and elected officials by removing barriers and building bridges to create effective dialogue. It’s our community and we must work together to build the brighter future we deserve.
