Picture this: crisp morning air over brushy plains. In the distance, snow-capped mountains tower over the sprawling grassland.

But staining this majestic scene is an ugly, grimy metallic structure. It CREAKS and GROANS, shaking the ground, sending animals scattering, and filling the air with the noxious smell of sulfur. This is a fracking rig -- and many more could soon come to our public lands without your help, Friend.

Instead of conserving these critical habitats, the Department of Interior is about to lease 137,159 ACRES to corporate polluters to frack and drill away on public lands and nearby communities that will suffer from CONTAMINATED AIR, WATER, and SOIL! Please take immediate action, Friend! We’re running out of time to PROTECT our public lands from FRACKING!

Fracking is a DANGEROUS GAME! Its wastewater can sometimes contain radioactive waste and may contaminate local drinking water. That’s not even to mention the constant drilling noise and horrific smells that can cause blistering headaches.

So much is at risk, Friend. Our public lands, nearby communities, threatened wildlife, and our entire planet. But the DOI is moving forward anyway. YOU CAN CHANGE THAT, but we need you to act now! Tell the DOI to STOP putting our public lands in the hands of corporate polluters!

Standing with you,
