I imagine Groundwork’s wrap-around support services as a tool box for hyper-local organizations. Our job is to put more tools in the toolbox we provide our grantees.
And thanks to supporters responding to our call to action a few weeks ago – Groundwork is excited to announce our partnership with Resilia, a new tool for our grantees to help them build long-lasting organizing and organizational capacity. More below on what this tool can do!
Our partners are local organizers and non-profit organizations fighting for progress and equity in Groundwork focus states. Help us expand our wrap-around services and build the capacity of each and every Groundwork partner.

Here are some of the Resilia tools our grantees can engage:🔧 Coaching from Resilia’s expert non-profit coaches on advisory board management, volunteer recruitment and retention, programming, events, and strategic planning. Coaches are available during office hours to connect 1:1 with grantees!
🪛 Building an online presence: handling back end operations, sharing stories to inspire actions, and more.
⚙️ Peer-to-peer learning opportunities from other organizations, for innovation and resource-sharing.
đź’» An expansive funder database to help our grantees access the resources their work demands and deserves.
The truth is that resources are scarce for pro-democracy organizations in the regions where we work, despite the unimaginable stakes (see: the news out of Tennessee last week). So it’s important to us to bring not just grant money but other forms of support to Groundwork states, if we want to really turn the tide on the ground. With Resilia, our partners can build and secure organizational capacity that is best suited for their unique needs.
Offering more wrap-around services is an exciting step for our grantees and Groundwork alike. With these tools the organizers we support will have more time to do the real work, in their communities, while we help them figure the other stuff out.
