Washington D.C.’s magazine ban is dangerous for two reasons.

First, as you may have seen in the news, violent crime in D.C. is rising, and
the prohibition on the magazines places law-abiding American citizens at risk
in the event of a deadly force criminal attack by limiting the number of rounds
they may rapidly bring to bear to protect their lives.

Second, if this ban is allowed to stand, it’s only a matter of time before it
spreads to other states and the limit is taken down to 5, then 2, and then guns
are banned completely.

It’s a slippery slope to tyranny and it’s up to you and me to make sure it
stops here and now.
