Friend, we’ve got just hours to go before our very first fundraising deadline of the election year, and I want to tell you something that’s been on my mind all week:

Winning this race isn’t only about sending a new senator to Washington to represent Kentucky and making sure our voices are heard and answered. It’s also about standing up for some basic values.

Facts matter. The Constitution matters. The truth matters.

We’ve watched Mitch McConnell shrug off those core principles again and again—and it’s been on full display this week in the Senate.

That’s why it is even more urgent that we replace him this November. I refuse to sit back and let cynics and power addicts run Washington.
