In the meeting, you'll meet some of the bravest local elected officials we have in West Virginia, view some surprising election analysis, and hear a lot more about these 7 ways to take action in the movement.

1. Run for office! We're already starting to map out our 2024 races. Let us know if you or someone you know is planning to run. Email our Candidate Outreach Captain Kim Felix ([email protected]) and Stephen ([email protected]) to let us know.?

2. Help our Morgantown Can't Wait slate?in the next 2 weeks. Volunteer opportunities on 4/20, 4/22, 4/24 and 4/25. Learn more here:?https://www.facebook.com/morgantowncantwait, or contact?[email protected].?

3. Recommend an elected official. Our Governance program is kicking butt. We have 24 elected officials serving in office now -- help us find the next 24. Email [email protected] if you know of a local city councilor, mayor, school board member, or any other elected official who is fighting for us. We want to make sure they get the support (policy, communications, safety, camaraderie, legal services) they need.

4. Link up with our Movement Safety program. Our Movement Safety program is providing threat assessments, individual support, group safety trainings, and mental health services to movement leaders who are in danger. Contact [email protected] to learn more.

5. VOLUNTEER for our membership drive. We need volunteers to help stuff envelopes in Charleston (May 18, 12-3pm, with pizza) and volunteers to help phonebank WV Can't Wait supporters on June 7th, 1-4pm, by Zoom. Reply to this email if you're interested!

6. Help us reach $1000.?We set a 24-hour goal to raise $1000 last night. We're already at $390. Donate here! Or mail your check to WV Can't Wait Action Committee / PO Box 1633 / Huntington WV 25717.

7. Access free training, coaching, and financial help for organizers. Email [email protected] if you are someone who is doing the work that government fails to do. We'd love to help however we can.?
