John, a few minutes ago, the Republican-led Senate voted against allowing witnesses and the opportunity to subpoena evidence for Trump's impeachment trial. A trial without witnesses is no trial at all, and that is the path the Senate has chosen.

Lee Zeldin has been cheerleading this cover-up as a member of Trump's impeachment team. Zeldin and his GOP compatriots are flagrantly avoiding a basic principle that we expect our legislators to follow: look at the facts and make informed decisions so that our democracy is protected.
